The main service that Traditional Care Services provides is helping to match our certified sponsored residential care providers with intellectually disabled children and adults. Residential Sponsors provide full-time, 24 hour, support for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Our program does the  research and works closely with families, case workers/coordinators, and the individual to find the perfect match. And once the match is made the process begins to move the individual in with the sponsor provider, ultimately becoming a part of their family. But our job isn’t over there. Traditional Care Services will continue to be a part of the process, checking in on sponsors and individuals on a weekly basis to make sure things are going smoothly. TCS only works with individuals who are 18 and over. And sponsor providers receive a stipend for their services.

Many individuals who have struggled in other types of settings move into Traditional Care Services homes and begin to grow and succeed. These settings are designed for long term, stable environment. TCS allows up to 2 individuals to be placed with the same sponsor, but only if the personalities and interests are a good match.
